Census Council is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting
access to and use of demographic and related statistics in the Southeast
Michigan area. Formerly known as the Detroit Regional Census Advisory
Committee, we have been active for over thirty years in such projects
as delineating census tract boundaries, creating and publishing the
Census Tract Coding Guides, sponsoring census user conferences, workshops
and topic luncheons, and providing networking opportunities for data
users. Members include government and private non-profit agencies, libraries,
consultants, school districts, academicians, citizen interest groups
