A little bit about us
CIDS has been funded by United Way of Oakland County (UWOC).
The purpose is to provide a
single point of contact, or one
stop shop, where organizations
can access a wide range of
demographic, socioeconomic and
related data, including many
community indicators. The
data serve a wide variety of
purposes, including strategic
and operational planning, (e.g.
analysis of internal data such
as client addresses, with
comparisons to census data and
other external data sets), grant
applications, program
evaluation, and program/agency
marketing.
The
CIDS central approach: first find
out what questions you, the data
user, want answered, and then access
the applicable data resources from
which to process and analyze the
relevant data.
Services are provided without charge to UWOC funded agencies. Appropriate fees apply for other data requests. We welcome inquiries from any person needing our services.
